You can spend the whole christmas season looking for comfort and satisfaction through gifts, people, idols, etc yet never feel satisfied, only longing for more. On the other hand there is Christ, our savior who will love, satisfy and comfort to an end far beyond our understanding. I’m thankful for that.
I’ll preface and say that I am a autodidact, I enjoy teaching myself.
I have a massive insecurity of approval among my peer group. I cannot figure as to why. I have no problem interacting with people older than me, in fact, I’ve flourished among them at work and in personal relationships. Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made. Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade.
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry. Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.
